It's my first time so be gentle. I've been browsing the board for a couple of months and decided to jump in head first. I live in DT Bellevue and work in Kirkland.
Does anyone have any suggestions as how to start out without having references?
There is a section about us ladies that offer alternative screening processes under the "Newbie" section. Generally, it is a brief meet and greet over coffee to get to know each other, and you are good to go. Some go a bit farther, but it all varies by the lady.

Welcome to TopHat gsk3. I hope you have a blast now that you are plunging head first in the THR waters. I'm one of the ones that offer an alternate form of screening. But alas....I am in South King County and don't travel. I looked for that sticky and didn't see it (I am on it)....but that's nothing new....especially if it's right in front of me.
