ummm....Partagas
Ohh Yes, I remember smoking these babies in Belize. I'm not an expert but I know what I like. BTW: someone told me you can get Cuban's in Canada. Is that true?

Yep. On a trip to Victoria in the 80's, a shop owner said "Don't show these to Customs! They'll take them away from you and smoke them!", referring to Cuban cigars.

Yeah, Partagas are my favorite, either natural or maduro.
I'd say Macanudo is the #3 out of these for me. About half the time, they just don't draw right. But when they do, they're great.

Been about ten years since I was last in a pipes-and-cigars phase. That one lasted for a while, several years at least. My favorite shop in Seattle was Peterson's, on Fisherman's wharf just across the canal from Ballard, in the same complex of shops as Chinook's Restaurant. I assume they're still in business. Back then, they claimed their walk-in humidor was the largest in the region.
More recently, I was in a very impressive cigar room, though I'm not sure the room itself was humidity-controlled. Indian-affiliated, with reservation prices, it's called the "Trading Post," IIRC east from I-5 on S. 72nd St to Waller Ave. E. The complex also has a restaurant and a bar that seemed likely spots for a south end lunch or m&g or karaoke night, if anyone cares.
Last time I was smoking cigars, I got to favoring The Griffins and AVO for makers; I started out preferring maduro cigars, but wound up with a taste for claros. At the time, I also found I could save a few bucks, even after paying for shipping, buying online or by phone by the box from a shop in Oregon (there's no real handy reservation in Seattle). Money-wise, there might be better sources now on account of different tobacco & sales tax rates, but the Oregon shop meant pretty quick deliveries, too.

Not being a cigar smoker myself, had me always trying to get a good gift for those who are.. and I have found these clubs ( I send the BBQ and HotSauce to family and they are a pretty good hit) so when they added a Cigar club, I thought it would be great to get those harder to please friends and family who are a bit snobby with they choice of cigar..

I have give it to 3 people now, and all three have all raved about what a unique selection they always receive. Some are liked more than others, but overall everyone seems to agree that it is a great variety and a winner in the gift department..

If it starts with a "P" it has to be good (as long as its maduro, the darker the better)

There is a nice cigar bar in Fife at BJ's Bingo, on Indian land, went there recently and it is more of a sports bar atmosphere, with big screen TVs and couches all over. Very comfortable.
In Tacoma, if you are a member, then you can Eat, drink and smoke in the condo area of Maxwells Speakeasy. Membership is expensive but has its privileges. Maxwells was able to do, what El Gaucho was unable to do, find a way around the smoking ban!
